Zumba Fitness

Zumba is a dance inspired fitness class. It has easy to follow steps that get everyone moving and grooving to the beat. Zumba is not about how well you can do the steps, but about moving to the music, and having fun. Grooving to the beats of salsa, flamenco, hip hop and merengue music feels more like a dance party than a workout. You don’t need to be a great dancer to feel welcome in our Zumba class and you’ll have so much fun, you’ll never notice that you are exercising!

STRONG by Zumba combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. In this revolutionary class you will burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes.

Class Schedule
Mondays 5:30pm – Zumba
Tuesdays 5:30pm – STRONG by Zumba

Wednesdays 5:30pm – Zumba
Thursdays 5:30pm – STRONG by Zumba

Saturdays 10am – Zumba

Classes are 50 minutes in length. Please bring a water bottle and wear athletic shoes.

Payment Options:
Drop-In: $10 per class
4 Pass Punch Card: $30 (good for 1 month from the purchase date)
10 Pass Punch Card: $70 (good for 3 months from the purchase date)
Unlimited Class Pass (Zumba Fitness ONLY): $65 (~ $5.50 a class if you attend all)
Unlimited Class Pass (STRONG by Zumba ONLY): $45 (~$5.50 a class if you attend all)
Unlimited Class Pass (Good for both Zumba Fitness & STRONG): $75 (~ $3.75 a class if you attend all)

We can accept cash or checks made payable to Uptown Dance Studio for payment. No need to pre-register for classes, just come on by!*

Nia

Whether you’re looking to improve your fitness, heal or prevent injuries, find some enjoyable cross-training, tone up or just have fun moving to the music, Nia could be what you’re looking for! Drawing from dance arts, martial arts and healing arts, Nia is a holistic practice designed to increase body awareness and improve your flexibility, agility, mobility, strength and stability. This type of varied movement supports functional fitness, preparing the body for real life activities and makes it easier to do the things you love to do more easily with reduced risk of injury. We believe that the joy of movement is the secret to maintaining an active lifestyle well into old age. Join us to stop exercising and start moving!

For Nia classes, payment can in be cash, check or credit card.

*If you are a new student and have purchased a Promotional Deal to use for our Zumba program, please register your voucher number and name in our “Zumba Registration Form” and print out your voucher (or have pulled up and ready on your smart phone) and bring it to the first day of class. Thanks!
